Session

In organisations full of knowledge workers and in a volatile and complex world, we need a new approach to mentoring that is more than transferring knowledge and providing solutions. In modern mentoring, the focus is on creating new knowledge and facilitating learning partnerships where both mentees, mentors and organisations are developing, learning and increasing their capacity for achieving their goals.

In this master class, we will

• Present the paradigm shift that is happening in the global corporate environment and how this is influencing leaders as well as mentors and coaches.
• Explore and combine different approaches to understanding corporate culture in order to design the best possible approach to mentoring in the specific organisation – for the individual as well as for the organisation and linked to the business agenda.
• Learn about the situational approach to mentoring and about how providing both mentors and mentees with the same tools and understanding can increase the effect of the mentoring, transform organisational culture and significantly change the approach to leadership.

As a participant in this master class, you will have the opportunity to practice with these tools and models to increase your knowledge and skills as an internal/external mentor and as a mentoring programme manager.
