Being published is arguably the most effective way of gaining reputation in the fields of coaching, mentoring and supervision. It’s also a great way to structure and reflect upon your experiences and learning. This workshop is aimed at both experienced and inexperienced authors. We will look at a wide variety of media and how to make most effective use of them, exploring such issues as how to choose and reach an audience, how to self-publish, how to persuade a journal editor or book publisher to publish you and how to capitalise on your writings. We will also look at how you can contribute to the EMCC Book Series.

Professor David Clutterbuck is EMCC International Special Ambassador and co-founder. He is visiting professor at Sheffield Hallam, Oxford Brookes and York St John Universities and has written or edited more than 65 books.

Dr Julie Haddock-Millar is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Manager, Consultant and Research. She teaches on a range of postgraduate programmes including the DBA and MBA programmes at the International University of Monaco and Middlesex University Business School. Her research publications are primarily in the areas of mentoring and professional development. She recently co-edited the Sage Handbook of Mentoring and is currently commissioned by Routledge for a new book: Mentoring and Coaching for Work-life Balance.
